Prez appoints 14 Judges to J&K among 4 HCs

New Delhi, Sep 19: The President of India has appointed 14 judicial officers as Judges and Additional Judges of the Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, Jharkhand and Karnataka High Courts.
The appointments were made in exercise of the powers conferred by the Constitution of India and after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, according to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

Nivedita Anil Sharma has been appointed as a Judge of the Delhi High Court, while Nisha Sahay Saxena, Sanjay Sharma, Bharat Parashar, Dr. Aditi Choudhary, Dinesh Bhatt and Arun Bhardwaj have been appointed as Additional Judges of the Delhi High Court.
Yash Paul Bourmey has been appointed as a Judge of the Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court.
Meanwhile, Manoj Prasad and Akhil Kumar have been appointed as Judges of the Jharkhand High Court.
The President has also appointed Ram Sharma, Usharani, K.S. Bharath Kumar and Nerale V. Bhavani as Additional Judges of the Karnataka High Court.
