Baramulla, 05 January 2025: In a continued drive against illegal mining activities, a joint team of Police Post Old Town and the Geology & Mining Department, Baramulla, seized two tippers involved in the unlawful transportation of stones.
The vehicles bearing registration numbers JK05B-2231 and JK05A-4546 were found carrying illegally extracted stones. Accordingly, legal action has been initiated under the relevant provisions of the MMRD Act.
Baramulla Police remains committed to strict enforcement against illegal mining and transportation activities and appeals to the general public to cooperate and report such violations.
