BJP Bandipora Holds ‘Yuva Sammelan ‘Urges Youth to Embrace Self-Reliance and Entrepreneurship

Bandipora Oct 21: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) District President Bandipora Mudasir Jan today successfully organised a dynamic Yuva Sammelan, focused on the theme of ‘Aatmanirbhar Yuva’ (Self-Reliant Youth). The event saw strong participation from young party workers and local youth, underlining the BJP’s commitment to empowering the next generation.

BJP Spokesperson J&K, Manzoor Bhat, was the Chief Guest for the Yuva Sammelan Program. In his address, he strongly encouraged the youth to actively participate in nation-building and take full advantage of the central government’s schemes for entrepreneurship and skill development.

The days of dependence and despondency are over. The future of Jammu and Kashmir lies in the hands of its talented and energetic youth,” stated Manzoor Bhat. “Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, the youth are not just job seekers, but job creators. Our mission is to transform every capable young person in Bandipora and across J&K into a ‘Self-Reliant’ entrepreneur.”

Addressing a gathering of party workers and community leaders, Manzoor Bhat emphasized that grassroots democracy can only thrive when all sections of society, especially women and youth, are given a stake and a voice in political processes.

Our campaign is moving beyond traditional rallies. We are committed to establishing a genuine dialogue with the people,” said Bhat. “The women and youth of J&K are not just voters; they are our most dynamic resource. By actively involving local women’s Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and youth organizations in our campaign structure, we are ensuring that our message is carried by trusted community voices, making the campaign truly inclusive and ground-up.

The BJP believes in the potential of Kashmir’s youth,” Bhat added. “This conference is a platform to discuss ideas, foster confidence, and chart a path where our young men and women become engines of growth, ensuring a prosperous future for their families and the entire region.

Bhat announced that the campaign activities will incorporate targeted speeches and awareness sessions designed to educate the public, particularly those in far-flung areas, about the central and UT government’s flagship welfare schemes.
“We have a moral duty to connect every eligible citizen with the benefits meant for them,” he stressed. “These awareness sessions will clearly explain the application processes and benefits of transformative schemes like the PM Ujjwala Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, PM Mudra Yojana, and dedicated entrepreneurship schemes for women and youth. This is governance being delivered at the doorstep.
