Sopore, Nov 13: Residents of Sopore town and adjoining villages on Tuesday evening organised a peaceful candle march to condemn the recent Red Fort incident and express solidarity with the victims and their families.
People from all walks of life participated in the march, holding candles and placards promoting peace, unity, and brotherhood. Speakers at the event strongly denounced terrorism in all its forms, calling it a cowardly act aimed at disturbing communal harmony.
A two-minute silence was observed in memory of the victims, followed by a collective pledge to uphold peace, resilience, and mutual coexistence.
