Sopore, June 24: In a remarkable achievement for North Kashmir, Chinar Warriors Dangiwacha brought laurels to the region by securing 21 medals and clinching 5th position overall in Jammu & Kashmir at the prestigious Budgam Open State Level Taekwondo Championship 2026.
The championship was held from June 20 to 22 at the Indoor Sports Stadium in Budgam and was organized by the Taekwondo Association of District Budgam in collaboration with the Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council. The event witnessed overwhelming participation, with over 100 teams and nearly 1,000 to 1,200 athletes from across Jammu & Kashmir competing in various categories.
Under the able guidance of Coach Mohsin Ali, the Chinar Warriors displayed exceptional skill, discipline, and determination throughout the championship. Their stellar performance reflected months of hard work, rigorous training, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
