CIVIC ACTION PROGRAMM 45 BN CRPF SUMBAL, Bandipora

Bandipora: Under the aegis of the Civic Action Programme 2025–26, a one-month Tailoring and Stitching Skill Development Course was successfully conducted by 45 BN at Bahrabad, Hajin (Bandipora). The programme commenced on 23 February 2026 and culminated on 25 March 2026.

A total of 50 girls and women, primarily from Below Poverty Line (BPL) families of nearby villages, actively participated in the training. Throughout the course, the participants exhibited remarkable enthusiasm, dedication, and commitment, leading to its successful completion.

Beyond skill development, the initiative also served as an effective measure of public outreach, fostering stronger bonds and enhancing mutual trust between the force and the common masses within the Area of Responsibility (AOR). It reflected a sincere effort to engage with the local community in a constructive and meaningful manner.

The programme provided a significant platform for underprivileged women to acquire practical skills in tailoring and stitching, thereby opening avenues for self-employment and financial independence. It stands as a testament to the commitment of CRPF towards women empowerment, community welfare, and the promotion of inclusive growth in the region.
