DC and SSP Review Traffic Congestion in Baramulla Market, Assure Early Resolution

Baramulla March 27: In view of the growing traffic congestion in main market areas, Deputy Commissioner Fakhr-ud-Din Hamid along with the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) SSP Baramulla conducted an on-ground inspection of key locations in Baramulla town on Friday.

They were accompanied by DySP Traffic and the ARTO Baramulla, who assessed the prevailing situation and discussed measures to streamline vehicular movement.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner took stock of major congestion points and interacted with officials to understand the challenges faced by commuters. He assured the public that effective steps will be taken in the coming days to address the issue and improve traffic management across the town.
The Deputy Commissioner further stated that a comprehensive plan will be devised for the proper regulation and management of street vendors to ease congestion in busy market areas.
The SSP Baramulla emphasized the need for coordinated efforts among all departments to ensure smooth flow of traffic. He stated that necessary measures will be implemented to regulate vehicular movement, minimize bottlenecks, and curb congestion in key areas.
The joint visit reflects the administration’s commitment to improving civic facilities and ensuring hassle-free movement for the public in Baramulla.
