Deadline Extended for Haj 2026 Applications Now Open Until August

SRINAGAR July 31: In a major relief for aspiring Haj pilgrims, the Haj Committee of India has officially extended the deadline for submission of Haj Application Forms (HAFs) for the year 2026. Pilgrims now have time until August 7, 2025, to submit their applications.
According to the latest notification, only applicants holding valid, machine-readable Indian passports—issued on or before August 7, 2025, and valid through December 31, 2026—are eligible to apply.
The entire application process will be conducted online, with submissions accepted either through the Haj Committee of India’s official website (www.hajcommittee.gov.in) or via the Android app ‘HAJ SUVIDHA’, available on the Google Play Store.
Prospective pilgrims are urged to carefully review the official Haj Policy and guidelines published on the Haj Committee’s website before proceeding with their applications to ensure compliance with all requirements.
This extension offers additional time for those yet to complete the application process and is expected to benefit hundreds of Haj aspirants across the country.
