REASI, DECEMBER 03: The District Employment and Counselling Centre Reasi, in collaboration with local ITI, has announced the commencement of a three-month skill development course for Assistant Electricians.
Thirty students have been selected to undergo the training program, which includes a monthly stipend of ₹1,000. The course is designed to equip participants with foundational and advanced electrical skills, ensuring they are job-ready upon completion.
The initiative aims to empower unemployed youth in the district by enhancing their employability through practical, industry-aligned training.
The course curriculum, developed in line with modern industry standards, combines theoretical learning with hands-on training. Assistant Director Employment Annie Vaid and Superintendent ITI Rajesh Basnotra graced the inaugural ceremony, emphasizing the significance of skill development in creating sustainable livelihoods.
Training will take place at ITI Reasi under the supervision of certified instructors, offering participants comprehensive knowledge and practical expertise. On successful completion, participants will receive certificates to support their job prospects or entrepreneurial ventures in the electrical field, contributing to the region’s economic growth.
