Baramulla, Apr 23: Shri Maqsood-ul-Zaman, IPS, DIG Armed Range Kashmir, on Thursday visited STC Sheeri to assess the preparedness of the Training Centre for the upcoming Basic Recruit Training Course for newly recruited constables.
Designated as the Nodal Officer/Mentor for STC Sheeri by PHQ, the DIG conducted a comprehensive inspection of the campus.
He reviewed key infrastructural facilities, including accommodation, mess, training grounds, indoor classrooms, and other essential training infrastructure, besides assessing the availability of equipment and related paraphernalia.During the visit, the DIG was briefed in detail by In-Charge Principal Qazi Mahmood, Smt. Dalbir Kour (AP Administration), and Shri Bilal Ahmad (AP Indoor) regarding the overall functioning and readiness of the Training Centre.Later, he convened a meeting of officers and reviewed the arrangements made for the smooth conduct of the training programme.
Emphasizing the importance of discipline, quality training, and the holistic development of recruit constables, the DIG issued necessary directions to further streamline the training process.He expressed satisfaction over the preparedness and arrangements put in place for the forthcoming training programme.
