Baramulla 14 March : Voter Awareness Programme Held At Ladu Ladoora Rafiabad

An awareness program to disseminate electoral literacy was organised under SVEEP during which the new voters with special focus on students, were familarized about their voting rights. The program was organised by the district administration Baramulla in a remote and upcoming tourist attraction Ladu Ladoora in Rafiabad.
Large number of people including students from different government schools participated in the event. New voters who will be voting in upcoming Parliament elections were educated about the electoral phenomenon in a democratic setup so that they are sensitized about the government and governance structures.
Some first time voters said that they are happy that there district administration organised this event in this remote area. They said that they are happy that they will be voting in coming elections and advised first time voters to cast their votes in a free and fair manner and choose a good
