Srinagar June 22: As part of the security preparations for the forthcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY)-2026, a joint mock drill was conducted on the designated Yatra route by police in Awantipora alongwith 50 RR, and 185 Battalion CRPF to assess operational preparedness and emergency response capabilities.
The exercise involved the simulation of various contingency scenarios and was aimed at testing coordination, communication, and response mechanisms among the participating forces. Senior officers supervised the drill and reviewed the preparedness of the deployed personnel.
The joint exercise reaffirmed the commitment of all security agencies to ensure a safe, secure, and smooth conduct of the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2026.“`
