SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 21: The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, which convened Monday for the Autumn session, paid tributes to former Ministers who passed away since the last session of the House.
During the obituary references, Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather recalled the contributions of former Ministers Dr. Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Dharam Paul and Ghulam Hassan Khan.
The Speaker said the departed leaders remained at the forefront of the social and economic activities of Jammu and Kashmir and made valuable contributions to the development and welfare of the people. The House observed silence as a mark of respect to the departed leaders and conveyed heartfelt condolences. The Speaker also urged the members to make judicious use of the time available during the session and work with dedication and sincerity to live up to the expectations and aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
