Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Mr. Ramesh Kumar (IAS), Commends Mission Save Lives Road Safety Rally in Jammu

Jammu City – Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Mr. Ramesh Kumar (IAS), extends a warm welcome to the Mission Save Lives Road Safety Rally J&K as it reaches Jammu City. The rally, inaugurated by the Hon’ble Lt. Governor J&K, Shri Manoj Sinha, on May 2, 2024, has been making significant strides in promoting road safety across the region.

Joined by officials from the Kashmir Road Safety Foundation and esteemed members of the law enforcement community, including SSP Traffic City Jammu, Mr. Faisal Qureshi (JKPS), and DySP Traffic City, Ms. Farah, the rally conducted an on-road activity at Dogra Chowk Jammu. This initiative included on-the-spot counseling for traffic rule violators, facilitated by Dr. Suhail, Medical Superintendent of Ujala Cygnus Hospital Jammu.

The Mission Save Lives Road Safety Rally J&K, organized by the Kashmir Road Safety Foundation and supported by Raj Bhawan Srinagar, enjoys collaborative efforts from various stakeholders, including Traffic Police J&K, District Administration J&K, Srinagar Smart City, Northstar Motorsports, HRCC, Autowings Toyota Srinagar, Ujala Cygnus J&K, VMART Srinagar, and Morning Kashmir Newspaper.

Expressing his support, Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Mr. Ramesh Kumar (IAS), emphasized the importance of such initiatives in preserving lives. He lauded the proactive stance of Hon’ble Lt. Governor J&K, Shri Manoj Sinha, in spearheading this road safety campaign, while also commending the relentless efforts of the Kashmir Road Safety Foundation and all associated stakeholders.
