Srinagar 16 July , 2026: Budgam, July 16: Chairperson of the J&K Waqf Board Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, today paid obeisance at the revered Aasar-e-Sharif, Peth Makhama Magam & the shrine of Baba Latifuddin Rishi at Poshkar Khag in Budgam district where she offered prayers for peace, prosperity, and the well-being of the people.
During her visit, Dr. Andrabi conducted a comprehensive inspection of the shrine complexs and reviewed the facilities and arrangements available for devotees. She assessed the overall maintenance, cleanliness, public amenities, and infrastructure within the shrine premises, emphasizing the need to ensure a comfortable and spiritually enriching experience for visitors.
She assured the locals that all genuine issues raised during the visit would be examined on priority and addressed through a coordinated approach. Dr. Andrabi reaffirmed that the Waqf Board remains dedicated to strengthening shrine infrastructure, improving public amenities, and ensuring transparent and efficient management of all Waqf-managed religious institutions across.
