Event Highlights Cultural Unity and Youth Engagement in J&K
Budgam May: 23 In a vibrant celebration of cultural heritage and national unity, Er Aijaz Hussain, senior leader and public representative, participated as the Chief Guest at One Nation, One Heartbeat a cultural event organized by Government Degree College (GDC) Budgam in collaboration with the All Kashmir Folk Artists Association and the North Zone Cultural Centre (NZCC), Patiala.
On the occasion, Prof. Mohammad Amin Malik Principal of GDC Budgam, graced the event as the Guest of Honor. His enduring commitment to promoting cultural awareness and academic excellence was widely acknowledged.
In his address, Er Aijaz Hussain lauded the leadership of the college and its faculty for their continued efforts in preserving and promoting the rich cultural legacy of Jammu & Kashmir among the youth. He emphasized that such initiatives play a vital role in fostering a unified national identity and empowering the younger generation through cultural education.
He also extended special thanks to the organizers—particularly Shahjahan, Chairman of the All Kashmir Folk Artists Association—for the dignified hoisting of the Tricolour, which added a powerful patriotic touch to the occasion.
The event featured a series of vibrant student performances, reflecting the region’s cultural diversity. The enthusiastic participation and talent of the youth were met with widespread appreciation from the audience.
Er Aijaz Hussain later distributed certificates of appreciation to all participating students and performers, commending their creativity and spirit.
