“Like Shiri, I too chose to chase my dreams,” says Tripathi, reflecting on her decision to stay in Mumbai despite early struggles. “I faced failures, was cheated both monetarily and contractually, but never gave up.”
The heartwarming drama, which premiered on Jio Cinema, features an ensemble cast including Jaaved Jaaferi, Namit Das, and Parmeet Sethi. Tripathi plays a housewife who ventures into the world of magic while balancing family responsibilities.

“We women have a natural instinct for multitasking,” Tripathi explains. “Sometimes we put our lives on hold to care for loved ones.” She relates this to her own mother’s journey, who postponed her teaching dreams but later pursued her passion for Bharatanatyam dance.
Starting without any industry connections in 2006, Tripathi’s breakthrough came with “Mohabbatein” in 2013. “Success was showered onto me because I kept working hard without worrying about the fruits,” she says. Today, she makes independent career choices, often discussing projects with her husband Vivek.

The series, produced by Jyoti Deshpande under Jio Studios, is currently streaming on Jio Cinema.
