INDI Alliance to announce LS candidates for J&K within 3 days

Srinagar, Mar 22: As the National Conference (NC) has announced the claim from all three parliamentary seats of the Kashmir division, its partners in the INDI alliance on Friday said that the final list of candidates will be out within three days.
Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) here stated that the talks are still on and there is no conclusive decision yet about the seat-sharing.

JKPCC President, Vikar Rasool Wani while talking to Morning Kashmir said that the final list of candidates is expected to be made public within three days. “We have not reached any conclusion yet, but yes, the Congress party is hoping and wants a favourable decision to come out so that a unity would continue amongst the parties,” he said.
Wani also said that the talks in this regard are still going on.
PDP General Secretary, Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura also confirmed that the talks are going on between the INDI Alliance partners with regard to the seat-sharing. “We are waiting for a positive response and further steps will be taken accordingly,” Lone said.
Pertinently, the confabulations continued for the three seats of Kashmir as NC has shown reluctance to surrender any seat while the PDP is demanding Anantnag-Rajouri as an alliance partner.
All three parties are in constant touch while the Peoples Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD), a conglomerate formed in J&K have also talked to the two parties to mediate and resolve the issues.
