Innovation creativity and scientific curiosity took centre stage at ATL Fest 2026, a mega inter-school event organised at Rana Army Goodwill School (AGS) Hajin for Army Goodwill Schools under Kilo Force.
The festival brought together nearly 200 students teachers, staff members and officers, creating a vibrant platform for young minds to present their innovative ideas, scientific projects and creative talent. Six AGSs Hajin, Sopore, Bandipore, Aragam, Margund and Budkote participated in the event and showcased a diverse range of projects reflecting the students’ imagination, problem-solving abilities and scientific temperament.
As part of an exposure initiative, around 40 students and staff members from Higher Secondary School Hajin and Girls Schools, Hajin, also participated in the programme, providing them an opportunity to interact with their peers and gain wider exposure to innovation and experiential learning.
In the Innovation Display category, Faika Farheen of AGS Budkote secured the first position, followed by Adnan Nabi of AGS Hajin in second place and Fiza Fayaz of AGS Bandipore in third.
In the Idea Seminar, Anika Khursheed of AGS Hajin emerged first, while S. Saroosh of AGS Bandipore and Hafsa Jan of AGS Budkote secured the second and third positions, respectively.
Adding a cultural dimension to the festival, AGS students presented a vibrant and energetic cultural programme. Their captivating performances drew appreciation from the audience and highlighted the confidence, creativity and diverse talents of the young participants.
With an impressive overall performance across various activities, Rana AGS Hajin was adjudged Best School ATL Fest 2026.
The event concluded with the presentation of prizes and certificates of appreciation to the winners and participants. The successful conduct of ATL Fest 2026 underscored the importance of providing young students with platforms that nurture innovation, scientific thinking, creativity, confidence and collaborative learning, while strengthening meaningful educational engagement among the AGSs under Kilo Force.
