Srinagar, Aug 02: The Jammu and Kashmir government has mandated that all government employees in Srinagar and Jammu attend the main Independence Day celebrations on August 15, 2024.
According to a recent directive, participation in the events at Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar or Maulana Azad Stadium in Jammu is considered a part of official duties.
Absence will require prior approval from immediate superiors. Administrative Secretaries, Heads of Departments, and Public Sector Undertaking leaders are tasked with ensuring compliance among their staff.
