K.C. Bokadia Celebrates the Success of ‘Sanskaar’ with the Media, Says His Aim Is to Bring Families Together

Mumbai: After entertaining audiences with several memorable films on the big screen, veteran filmmaker K.C. Bokadia is now winning hearts on television with his family drama Sanskaar. Celebrating the appreciation received by the show, he cut a cake with members of the media in Mumbai and shared his happiness on the occasion.

Sanskaar airs Monday to Friday at 8 PM on DD National. Based on family relationships, Indian culture and traditional values, the serial is steadily building its identity among television audiences.

Following his television serial Sardar – The Game Changer, K.C. Bokadia is continuing his creative journey in the television industry with Sanskaar. Expressing his gratitude for the response to the show, he interacted with the media and spoke about the thought behind the serial.

Presented under the banner of BMB Productions, Sanskaar is a multi-starrer family drama written and directed by K.C. Bokadia and produced by Rajesh Bokadia and K.C. Bokadia. The serial features Darshan Jariwala, Zarina Wahab, Aman Verma, Mugdha Godse, Rakesh Bedi, Pankaj Berry, Mahesh Thakur, Supriya Karnik, Rajesh Khera and several other talented actors.

Speaking on the occasion, K.C. Bokadia said, “If Sanskaar is reaching households across the country, it is a noble contribution because families are falling apart today. If watching the serial inspires even 10 per cent of people to develop greater love and respect for their families, understand the importance of joint families, prevent families from breaking apart and incorporate Indian values into their lives, it will be a great source of happiness for me. I have created this show with all my heart. I never thought of making money from it; instead, my aim was to take a social message to every household. I am happy that Sanskaar is reaching homes through Doordarshan.”

He further said, “People still prefer old films and songs because they reflect the Indian way of life, culture and values. The serial Sanskaar reminds viewers of those very values. After every episode, we receive hundreds of phone calls and messages from cities, towns and villages across different states of the country. People appreciate the dialogues, cinematography, locations and story of Sanskaar.”

The serial has been filmed at beautiful locations in Varanasi, Jaipur, Mumbai and Kashmir. The production aims to bring together the cultural diversity of these places and a story centred on family relationships.

Known for films such as Pyar Jhukta Nahin, Teri Meherbaniyan, Kudrat Ka Kanoon, Aaj Ka Arjun, Phool Bane Angaray and Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam, K.C. Bokadia sees Sanskaar as more than just a television serial. For him, it is an effort to bring families closer and pass the values of Indian culture on to the next generation. While celebrating the show’s success with the media, he expressed hope that the serial would further strengthen the importance of family love, respect and relationships among viewers.
