Budgam, Sep 25: Kashmiri Pandits in Budgam on Wednesday said they voted for a brighter future marked by improved employment opportunities, better infrastructure and solutions to their long-standing issues.
One voter remarked, “We are voting in the hope that unemployment will be reduced and our children will secure jobs. We need a leader who can support the poor and address the problems that have long been neglected.”
Basic amenities like electricity and water were also key concerns. Shama added, “We hope for better water facilities and reduced electricity fees. These issues are critical and must be taken seriously by whoever comes into power.”
Overall, Kashmiri Pandits casting their votes in Budgam expressed optimism that this election could bring about the long-awaited development and stability in the valley—(KNO)
