Srinagar, Nov 01: Security forces on Saturday apprehended a man during a joint naka check at Shaloora Crossing in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Sources said that the individual, identified as Tanveer Ahmad From Kralpora Kupwara was intercepted near a petrol pump, where one Chinese grenade and a mobile phone were recovered from his possession.
The operation was conducted jointly by Kupwara Police, 3 Naga Regiment of the Indian Army, and 98 Battalion CRPF.
Officials said that a case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
