REASI, AUGUST 13: In an inspiring display of patriotism and community spirit, the District Administration Reasi organized a grand Tiranga Rally today as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign’ leading up to the 78th Independence Day celebrations.
The rally was led by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Reasi, Vishesh Mahajan, from General Zorawar Singh Sports Stadium. This event marked a significant celebration of India’s national identity, highlighting the unity and pride of the local community.
Prominent officers including SSP Reasi, Mohita Sharma ,CO IRP 1st Battalion Anita Sharma, Principal STC Talwara Jameel Ahmed, ACD Pardeep Kumar, ACR Anshumali Sharma, along with the CEO, XENs, and school principals and teachers, also took part in the rally. Their participation emphasized the importance of national unity and underscored the significance of the Indian flag as a symbol of freedom and democracy.
After the rally, a garden was established in the DC Complex in memory of the martyrs. During the event, DC Reasi, SSP Reasi Mohita Sharma, and other district officers planted saplings under the theme ‘Ek Ped Shaheedon Ke Naam’ honoring the sacrifices of the nation’s heroes.
