Hajin Bandipora: Municipal Committee Hajin along with Hajin Police Organised a Tiranga rally as part of campaign, ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’, to pay tributes to the bravehearts who laid down their lives for the country .
The rally was flagged off Municipal Committee Chairman Irhsad Ahmad Wani.
SDPO Hajin Rameez Rashid Bhat , SHO Hajin Hussain Ahmad Mugal ,Tehsildar Hajin also took part in the rally .
Scintillating scenes of national brotherhood and patriotism were witnessed when students hoisting the National flag and singing the Rashtragaan marched towards MC Office Hajin to Tehsil Office .
All the employees of MC Hajin and students from various schools participated in the Tiranga Rally with tricolour in their hands .
Students , employees chanting slogans of Har Ghar Tiranga and patriotic songs reverberated through the town during the rally.
During the rally Memorial plagues of brave hearts who laid their lives for century were also installed at several places at Hajin .
It’s pertinent to mention that as part of the ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ campaign, various programmes will be held at village,towns, block, state and national levels from August 9 to 30 to “pay tributes to the veers who laid down their lives for the country”.
