PAMPORE, June 11: In a significant boost to healthcare infrastructure in Pampore area, MLA Pampore Retired Justice, Hasnain Masoodi, on Thursday inaugurated several advanced medical facilities and equipment worth Rs 63 lakh at Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Pampore.
The newly inaugurated facilities include a Modular Operation Theatre Workstation established at a cost of Rs 7 lakh, a C-Arm with Ortho Cable Unit worth Rs 18 lakh, a Laparoscopic Unit costing Rs 30 lakh, and a Biochemistry Analyzer installed at a cost of Rs 8 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion, Masoodi said that strengthening healthcare infrastructure and ensuring access to quality medical services remain among his top priorities. He said the addition of modern equipment would significantly improve the hospital’s diagnostic and surgical capabilities, reducing the need for patients to travel to distant hospitals for specialized treatment.
Interacting with public delegations during the visit, Masoodi patiently listened to various developmental issues and grievances raised by residents from different areas of Pampore. He assured them that all genuine demands and public concerns would be addressed on a priority basis.
Talking to Morning Kashmir, the MLA Pampore Hasnain Masoodi reiterated his commitment to ensuring the availability of essential healthcare services within Pampore so that residents do not have to travel outside the town for quality treatment.
Masoodi further revealed that efforts are underway to install a CT Scan machine at SDH Pampore during the current year. He said the facility, once operational, would provide advanced diagnostic services locally and save patients from the inconvenience of travelling to Srinagar and other places for CT scans.
The hospital administration and medical staff expressed gratitude to the MLA for his continued support in upgrading healthcare facilities in the region. They noted that the installation of modern medical equipment would greatly enhance patient care and improve the overall quality of healthcare services at the hospital.
