Pushparaj The Rise had created a huge hype for the film and was conceptualised with all the hit formula that is needed for the film to run at the B.O. No prizes for guessing 3 years later, Pushpa2: The Rule ‘has created double fiery effect not only on the silver screen all over India but has seen innumerable numbers of audiences thronging into the theatres.
Story:
The cat and mouse race between Pushpa and Shekhawat who is trying to take revenge which started by the end of Pushpa:The Rise.’ Shekhawat was made to shed his clothes..this has been taken forward in a meticulous manner.The story has all the old elements we have seen in films from ages.Viz a viz from smuggling,family feud,cat and mouse race,female actor abducted and the hero bringing her back, sexy scenes and luvvy-duvvy scenes between husband wife..also sexy ,peppy foot tapping item number oozing sensuality is at its peak. So it’s like old wine served in a new bottle.However,the service of all these aspects mentioned above have been served with their much measured and enticing manner which the audiences have been catered to from ages.The only difference is how cleverly and differently -it is served For that audiences will have to watch the movie.
Direction:Heroism served on the platter is huge,larger than life beyond imagination.However,B Kumar has undeniably stuck to raw action hand to hand combat a different hang rising combat brings in the much needed jitters.Not much blood shed except depicted in a few fight sequences the action has been meticulously choreographed.Sukumar seems to have created a full to massy commercial film in-spite of 3 hrs 21 minute run time the scenes and the dialogues keep you on the edge of the seat. You are eager to know -What next?
Performance:Without an iota of doubt,Allu proves to be romantic at heart while performing romantic scenes with his wife Rashmika Mandana as Shrivali.His out of the box raw action scenes are mind-blowing.His emotional side for his family and others is heart-wrenching.Heroism over the top yet you fall in love with him.Rashmika Mandana in her sweet, widely luvvy duvvy [feelings] scenes trying to keep her husband within her emotional clutches and supporting him created a positive impact.
Fahaad Faasil proves the phrase right:Size doesn’t matter His performance gives the most expected confrontations with Allu superbly.Other characters aptly performed their parts indeed praiseworthy
Screenplay/dialogues:Hindi dialogues especially mouthed by Shreyas Talpade for hero is praiseworthy everytime Allu Arjun opens his mouth.This will definitely attract humongous attention of the audiences belonging to the North belt.Delhi/U.P. territory will hail heroism which is a creation beyond the social premise taking the rule in his hands.
Choreography/songs especially in Hindi are to the Height of massy approach..the rikshawala and the labour class will throng into theatres to witness the oozing sexy-sensuous gestures…
Cinematography…needs a special mention for capturing huge larger than human numbers in various scenes.The dance number of Allu Arjun at the mata ka temple has been choreographed literally out of the box.The viewer is forced to visualise it without even that enables the viewer to watch it without flickering his/her eyelashes Stupendously fantabulous captured scene first of its kind.
Negative Points:
The sexy and sensuous scenes shown between the husband and wife and the foot taping sensuous numbers debar the family members to sit together and watch the film. Such sexy numbers and scenes were shown in the”C” grade films in the 80’s and the 90’s. But now all’ A’ grade production houses are using these tactics to lure the youth.Simply to say this film debars from being categorised as ,”The Family Film.” However, the youth and the 4 grade laborer class audience as well the rickshaw walla’s will watch the movie more than once.
Verdict: All in all a masala entertainer with all the ingredients in place people cannot avoid watching the film once but many times!!
