New Delhi, Jan 03 : The Bajaj Chetak is set to get an update in the Indian market with the launch of the Premium variant scheduled for 5 January. The revamped electric scooter has also been spotted at a dealership giving us an idea of what to expect.
The biggest change to the Chetak is to its instrumentation. Gone is the circular screen that has made way for a colour TFT unit. This unit will come with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation as well ride modes. That said, we are yet to know if Bajaj will deviate from the 2.9kWh battery pack to a bigger and better performing unit. However, we can be sure of an increase in riding range, just like the Chetak Urbane version.
