Sarit Sarak Association of Telangana Successfully Hosts 3rd National Sarit Sarak Championship 2026; J&K Clinches 3rd Position as 300 Athletes from Across India Showcase Talent in Three-Day National Event

PAMPORE, JANUARY 28: The Sarit Sarak Association of Telangana successfully organized the third National Sarit Sarak Championship under the aegis of the Sarit Sarak Federation of India, held from 24th to 26th January 2026 at Ramnatpur, Uppal Mandal, Hyderabad, Telangana.

The three-day national-level championship witnessed enthusiastic participation from 300 athletes representing various states across India, including Manipur, Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Kerala, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, and Delhi, showcasing exceptional talent, discipline, and sportsmanship.

After intense and competitive matches, the Jammu and Kashmir team secured the 3rd position in the overall championship standings, earning appreciation for their commendable performance, officials told Morning Kashmir.

The closing ceremony was held with great enthusiasm and pride. The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Ramchander Rao Garu, President of BJP Telangana, who distributed medals and certificates to the winning athletes. In his address, Ramchander Rao Garu congratulated the players and organizers and emphasized the importance of promoting traditional and indigenous sports at the national level.
