Late Tariq Bhat passed away at a young age and was serving as the Bureau chief of The Week of Kerala. Mr Tariq Bhat began his journalism career in 1993 and worked with several newspapers.
He was a steadfast believer in the oneness of Allah Almighty and followed the path of Tawheed in both letter and spirit, said the president, Mohammad Saleem Pandit.
The executive body also prayed for the peace of the departed soul.
The President M Saleem Pandit recalled his association with the late Tariq Bhat in the former’s weekly periodical “Submission” in 1993 and said that the late Tariq was humble, a gentleman to the core and an overall person. He would never jump into the controversies of the journalistic hostilities.
May Allah Almighty offer him the highest place in Jannat and confer patience on the bereaved family to bear this huge loss, the members of the club prayed.
