ANANTNAG, DECEMBER 04: To equip enumerators and officials with the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out accurate and efficient data collection, a District Level Training programme for Phase 2nd and Phase 3rd of the 11th Agriculture Census was today held at Dak Bungalow, Khanabal.
The training session, focused on imparting key techniques in data collection methodologies, procedures, and the use of technology. This training is vital to ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the data collected, which will provide a comprehensive assessment of the agriculture sector’s contribution to the economy.
The data gathered will also play a crucial role in policy formulation and future planning for the sector’s development.
Officials and enumerators participating in the program underwent hands-on training in fieldwork, data recording, and digital tool handling.
The training is expected to streamline the process, enhancing the overall efficiency and accuracy of the census operations.
With the successful completion of the training program, the district is now prepared to proceed with Phase 2nd and Phase 3rd of the 11th Agriculture Census, which will cover a wide range of agricultural activities and household-level data collection.
