Bandipora July 25: Mr. Narendra Singh Bali (IAS), Mission Director Dairy Development visited Bandipora district to oversee key initiatives aimed at advancing the dairy sector. He was given warm welcome by CAHO Bandipora, Dr G. A. Lone and other officials, he began the visit with the inauguration of newly sponsored Milk Vans under the Integrated Dairy Development Scheme (IDDS) to enhance milk transportation and preservation.
During interactions with Dairy Enterprenures , Mr. Bali emphasized maximizing benefits from Holistic Agricultural Development Programme (HADP) and IDDS schemes. The enterprenuers shared their success stories of improved livelihoods and dairy production.
He Inauagrated the First Ever Satellite Heifers Farm established under HADP, at Trigam Sumbal and also inspected the Hydrophonic unit, aimed at improving livestock quality and sustainable fodder production. The visit included an inspection of *Kasperia Organic, a local milk processing plant maintaining high-quality standards.
He engaged with Veterinary Assistant Surgeons and focused on strengthening animal health services, crucial for dairy animal well-being. Mr. Bali also interacted with A-Help , and distributed AI kits to Maitris who support the dairy development initiatives. He also distributed the certificates to various dairy entreprenuers of the District.
The visit concluded with an inspection of the Central Veterinary Laboratory , supporting disease diagnosis and control strategies. Mr. Bali recognized the efforts of CAHO Bandipora and his team in implementing dairy schemes.
