Mumbai, 30 October 2026: Bringing together mystery, supernatural elements, suspense and horror, the film ‘Jhaad Phoonk’ is now streaming on JioHotstar. Directed by Rajan Ramgopal Verma, this supernatural horror thriller takes audiences into a mysterious world where fear, superstition and unexplained happenings form the heart of the narrative. Produced under the banner of NIIV Entertainment India Pvt. Ltd., the film is directed by Rajan Ramgopal Verma, with Shailesh Parihaar as the producer and Vrundaa Brahmbhatt as the co-producer. The film features Yashpal Sharma, Padmini Kolhapure, Sumbul Touqeer Khan, Harsh Rajput and Apratim Singh in prominent roles.
Set against the picturesque yet mysterious hills of Uttarakhand, the story revolves around a series of disturbing incidents that turn the life of a pregnant woman, Aastha, upside down. Following a road accident, she finds herself taking shelter in an unfamiliar house, where the family initially appears warm and helpful. However, strange occurrences and the presence of a mysterious woman soon turn her stay into a terrifying experience. With her partner missing and the safety of her unborn child at stake, Aastha finds herself caught in a web of secrets, fear and unanswered questions. As the mystery deepens, every character and every incident becomes a reason for suspicion.

Sumbul Touqeer Khan plays the central character of Aastha, a pregnant woman who finds herself trapped in a frightening and unfamiliar situation.
