Srinagar Jun 30: The government is set to announce summer vacations from July 8th for schools across the Kashmir Valley. The Directorate of School Education (DSEK) on Sunday announced summer vacation for all schools in Kashmir from July 8th, official said.
In an order, the DSEK said: “It is ordered that all the government and private recognised schools upto higher secondary level functioning in the Kashmir Division shall observe summer vacation 08th July, 2024 to 17th July 2024.”
“Vacations will start from July 8th as the MET department has predicted rainfall until the 7th July,” Kumar said. It is important to mention that the Kashmir Valley has witnessed a rise in day temperatures over the past week; however, the Meteorological Department has now forecasted wet weather until July 7th.
