PAMPORE, MAY 20: The 110 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on Wednesday organised a free medical camp under the Civic Action Programme at Taingan Nowgam area of Budgam district.

A large number of people from the area gathered at the camp to avail healthcare facilities and get their medical issues addressed by the team of doctors deputed for the programme.

During the camp, around 300 patients were provided free medical check-ups, while a large quantity of medicines was distributed among the beneficiaries.

Officials told Morning Kashmir that the camp was inaugurated by elderly women from the locality in the presence of Commandant 110 Battalion B. R. Meena, senior CRPF officers and local residents.

The medical team examined patients suffering from various ailments and provided necessary treatment and medicines free of cost.

Locals appreciated the initiative and termed it a significant step towards ensuring accessible healthcare services in the area. They said such programmes help people, especially those from far-flung areas, avail basic medical facilities at their doorstep.
