Actor Abhishek Sharrma, who plays the calm and composed Dev in Zee TV’s hit show Vasudha, recently shared how different his on-screen persona is from his real-life personality.
“Dev is someone who stays subtle all the time and that, as Abhishek, is quite different for me. By nature, I’m a jolly person as I love playing pranks and making people laugh. Dev, on the other hand, is the complete opposite. So, staying in his skin wasn’t exactly out of my comfort zone, but it definitely felt different.”
Abhishek revealed that while adapting to Dev’s composed energy took some effort, it turned out to be a positive experience. “That calm, composed energy he has, it’s something I had to ease into. But I think it’s been a blessing in disguise,” he said. “I’ve gotten so used to being in character on set that most people here have no idea what I’m actually like off-camera.”
Abhishek’s nuanced portrayal of Dev has earned him much appreciation from the audience, with Vasudha consistently enjoying high TRPs and chart-topping ratings.
