Baramulla, October 8, 2026: The District Administration Baramulla, in collaboration with MY Bharat volunteers, NCC cadets, health officials and other stakeholders, today participated in the national-level launch of JOSH Teams and inaugurated the district-level launch of JOSH Teams in Baramulla.
The programme was held under the chairmanship of the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla, and was attended by the Chief Planning Officer, Chief Medical Officer, District Panchayat Officer, District TB officer, District Youth Officer, MY Bharat Baramulla, Commandant NCC Baramulla, Block Medical Officers, Medical Officers/MLHPs of TB-Mukt Panchayats, Panchayat Secretaries, MY Bharat volunteers, NCC cadets, NTEP staff, ASHA workers, TB Vijetas, Nikshay Mitras and other stakeholders.
The programme also featured the felicitation of TB-Mukt Panchayats in the district in recognition of their efforts towards achieving the goal of a TB-free community.
On the occasion, appreciation certificates were distributed among officials associated with TB-Mukt Panchayats, MY Bharat volunteers, NCC cadets, TB Vijetas and Nikshay Mitras for their valuable contribution, dedication and active participation in the campaign.
The event highlighted the importance of coordinated community participation and the active involvement of youth, frontline health workers, Panchayati Raj Institutions, volunteers and other stakeholders in strengthening public health initiatives and advancing the vision of TB-Mukt Bharat.
District Administration appreciated the collective efforts of all participating departments, volunteers and community representatives and called for continued cooperation and active public participation in initiatives aimed at improving health outcomes and community welfare.
