Baramulla, Sept 19, 2025: The Army on Friday organized a blood donation camp in Baramulla as part of its ongoing social outreach and welfare initiatives. The event saw enthusiastic participation, with 60 Army personnel voluntarily donating blood to help save precious lives.
The camp was conducted under the supervision of Government Medical College (GMC) Baramulla, ensuring proper medical screening, hygiene, and post-donation care. Officials said the donated blood will be used to meet critical requirements during emergencies, surgeries, and medical crises, directly benefiting the local community.
Highlighting the Army’s ethos of “Service Before Self”, a spokesperson said the initiative reflects the Army’s commitment not only to safeguarding the nation but also to promoting the well-being of the people. Such efforts, they added, strengthen the bond of trust and goodwill between the Army and the awaam.
