Mathura, January 19 -Former Minister and Congress Leader Subodh Kant Sahay said the BJP is usings Money and Polarization to win elections, today.
He said that the BJP-led government survives on extreme polarization and the transfer of money into bank accounts at the last moment of the election process. The Election Commission is working as a wing of the Bhartiya Janta Party and defending its actions. They haven’t replied to the question raised by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
He said the congress party suffers today because of the absence of issue-based politics. The party is battling at a larger front and has made many sacrifices to preserve the constitutional fabric of India. “We supported left parties in West Bengal, we are not in government, even after being in coalition for so long in Tamil Nadu,” he added.
The issues that matter the most are no longer raised and discussed. Inflation, unemployment, and even Farmer’s issues are missing from the mainstream. No national issue is now formed, as national parties have to accommodate regional parties, Subodh Kant Sahay said.
Congress Party is on target as Rahul Gandhi is the only leader who dares to ask questions from PM Modi, he added.
He calls the bulldozer culture very unfortunate and feels there is no rule of law now. “Notices were served even to remove slums earlier, but no process has been followed now”. “They are not bulldozing homes but bulldozing institutions.
Worse than bulldozing is happening where a bulldozer is not used. A recent demolition of a school in Madhya Pradesh, Betul, and revocation of permission of MBBS coursepti at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University because most incumbents were from one religion, shows how they have killed our education system, he said.
On the upcoming elections in Assam, he said, we have observed the mood of the people of Assam who want a change in the government. “Hemanta is the most corrupt Chief Minister with zero administrative capacity; nothing significant is done in his tenure,” he said.
He is working as the political manager of the north east, and is busy toppling the governments. A strong team led by Priyanka Gandhi has taken responsibility for elections there, and we are sure that we will win the elections in Assam.
