DIPR Pulwama organises Felicitation Ceremony & Seminar on Civil Services

Students guided on Civil Services Exam preparation and career prospects

PULWAMA, NOVEMBER 23: The Department of Information & Public Relations (DIPR) Pulwama, in collaboration with the Career Counselling and Placement Cell of Government Degree College (GDC) Pulwama, organized a seminar and felicitation ceremony to inspire and guide aspiring civil services candidates.

The event began with a welcome address by District Information Officer (DIO) Pulwama, Wajeeza Mushtaq, setting a positive and motivational atmosphere for the day. 

Senior Superintendent of Police Pulwama, P.D. Nitya graced the occasion as the chief guest and felicitated successful candidates who had excelled in recently concluded J&K Combined Competitive Examination , 2023.

In her address, SSP highlighted the importance of determination and consistency in achieving success in civil services. She motivated the students to believe in their potential and work towards their goals with commitment.

The toppers of civil services examinations shared their insights during the session, narrating their journey, preparation strategies and the challenges they overcame. 

An interactive session followed, where students enthusiastically engaged with the toppers, seeking guidance and practical advice on various aspects of the examination.

The seminar witnessed the participation of hundreds of students, who expressed enthusiasm and appreciation for the valuable insights provided during the event.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the faculty of GDC Pulwama, acknowledging the efforts of DIPR Pulwama, the Career Counselling and Placement Cell and all dignitaries for making the event a success.

Among others the event was attended by Assistant Commissioner Development, Pulwama, Principals of Govt Degree Colleges of Pulwama, and Rajpora and GDC Women’s Pulwama, besides faculty members of GDC Pulwama, officials from the DIPR, Pulwama and other concerned.
