NEW DELHI, 30 September 2025: Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, Hon’ble Minister of State and Chairperson of the Jammu & Kashmir Waqf Board, paid a visit to the revered Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya Dargah in New Delhi today. The visit underscores the importance of cultural and spiritual heritage sites and follows her ongoing efforts to streamline the management and development of religious endowments.
During her visit, Dr. Andrabi offered prayers and paid obeisance at the shrine of the 14th-century Sufi saint, Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya. She also took the opportunity to interact with the Dargah’s managing body and some devotees.
The Chairperson of the J&K Waqf Board highlighted the commitment of the board to bringing transparency and reform to Waqf properties in Jammu & Kashmir, and expressed her dedication to the preservation and development of revered shrines, taking inspiration from the management of prominent institutions across the country.
