New Delhi, Dec 12 : Chandu Patil, the president of Diva Koliwada, has been organizing this pilgrimage for the Ekveera Mata for the past 12 years. The procession starts from Airoli and goes to the Ekveera Mata temple in Lonavala, carrying the palki. This year, notable personalities like Navi Mumbai BMC Commissioner Rajesh Narvekar, renowned Acupuncturist Dr. Santosh Kumar Pandey, actor Sachin Danai, and actress-model-influencer Ekta Jain joined the procession. They all lifted the palki to commence the journey.
Chandu Patil mentioned that this pilgrimage takes three days to complete, and all devotees actively participate. The guests were honored with garlands and shreefal (sacred coconut).
Sachin Danai shared his experience of witnessing the divine presence of Ekaveera Mata and learning about her life during the pilgrimage.
BMC Commissioner Rajesh Narvekar praised Chandu Patil’s efforts in organizing the pilgrimage and expressed joy at being part of this spiritually important program.
Chandu Patil emphasized the vital role of such devotional efforts for unity and spiritual development in the community, thanking all participants in the Ekveera Mata Palki Yatra.
