SAMBA, NOVEMBER 27: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) Jammu Regional Office today conducted the “Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0” awareness program at DC Office Complex Samba, demonstrating its commitment to social security and stakeholder engagement.
The event was organised in collaboration with the Office of Assistant Labour Commissioner Samba currently headed by Himani Jerath.
P.F. Commissioner Rizwan Uddin RPFC personally led the initiative, directly addressing grievances of workers and employers from the district. The comprehensive program focused on multiple critical aspects of social security and digital services including on-spot grievance redressal, providing direct handholding support to workers and employers.
Information was also provided on critical topics including Universal Account Number (UAN) Activation Process, Grievance Filing Mechanisms (EPFiGMS, CPGRAMS), Digital Service Awareness, Fraud Prevention Strategies, Employee Rights and Employer Obligations among others. A strong appeal was made to industries to extend social security benefits to all eligible employees from their first day of employment.
“Our goal is to bring social security closer to the people,” said Shri Rizwan Uddin. “Through programs like Nidhi Aapke Nikat, we aim to demystify complex processes and ensure every eligible worker understands and receives their rightful benefits.”
The program engaged multiple stakeholders, including employees, employers, Industry Associations and contractors.
