“Kupwara Police Intensifies Anti-Narcotics Drive Under 100-Day Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan”

Kupwara, May 02: Kupwara Police has intensified its enforcement measures against narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances across the district under the ongoing 100-Day Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan.
As part of the drive, trained K9 narcotics detection dog has been deployed during naka checking, vehicle inspections, targeted raids, and area domination exercises to enhance detection capabilities and strengthen surveillance.

In continuation of the campaign, an anti-narcotics drive was conducted in Drugmulla, where multiple vehicles were checked with the assistance of the canine unit and security personnel.

Special checking operations were also carried out around schools, colleges, and chemist shops to prevent misuse of narcotic substances and safeguard the youth from the menace of drugs.

Police teams have established checking points at vital locations and are conducting surprise inspections to deter drug peddlers and disrupt trafficking networks.
