Pulwama, Jan 09 : In a relentless effort to curb the menace of drug peddling, Police in Pulwama today, attached a double-storied residential house valuing approximately Rs 20,97,291/- belonging to a notorious drug peddler namely Fayaz Ahmad Rather son of Gh Mohd Rather resident of Karimabad and Two Shops with 2nd floor as residential apartment valuing approximately Rs 27,35,186/- which belongs to a drug peddler namely Mohd Maqbool Bhat @Tola son of Ali Mohd Bhat resident of Dalipora Pulwama under section 8/21-29 NDPS Act 1985.
This action follows a thorough investigation, identifying these properties as illegally acquired during the course of illicit drug trafficking. Both individuals are currently under legal custody, reinforcing J&K Police’s commitment to combating activities detrimental to public safety and national security.
