Baramulla, June 10, 2026: The District Administration Baramulla today organized a grand felicitation ceremony in honour of renowned sports personality Mr. Aqib Nabi Dar at the historic Sherwani Hall, Baramulla.
The event witnessed the participation of prominent sports personalities, coaches, athletes, administrators, and members of the sports fraternity from across the district. The ceremony was organized to recognize and celebrate the remarkable contribution of Mr. Aqib Nabi Dar towards the promotion and development of sports.
Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Syed Fakhruddin Hamid, who was the chief guest on the occasion, felicitated Mr. Aqib Nabi Dar by presenting him with a traditional shawl and a memento as a mark of appreciation for his dedication, commitment, and services to sports.
The programme was attended by senior officers of the district administration, representatives of various sports organizations, and distinguished guests. A special video highlighting the inspiring journey, achievements, and contributions of Aqib Nabi Dar was also officially released by the District Administration during the event.
Speaking on the occasion, the dignitaries lauded the outstanding efforts of Aqib Nabi Dar in inspiring youth and strengthening the sporting culture of the region.
