Div Com reviews preparedness for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Districts

JAMMU, NOV 10: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar today chaired a meeting of Deputy Commissioners to review the preparedness for upcoming Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in the Districts.
The meeting was attended by Director Rural Development Department, Deputy Director Planning and other concerned officers, while Deputy Commissioners of Jammu division, Director Urban Local Bodies participated through Video Conference.

The Div Com directed DCs to go through the complete program shared with them and plan activities accordingly. He also directed DCs to appoint district nodal officers for coordination of activities.
The Div Com instructed DCs to establish a control room to synchronize the activities for optimum impact on the ground.
He also asked DCs to review district level arrangements and plan for saturation of schemes in their respective districts.
It was informed that the Yatra will focus on publicity of Government schemes in rural and urban areas.
