Srinagar: Senior Trade Union Leader and President Employees Joint Action Committee Jammu Kashmir (EJAC) Fayaz Ahmad Shabnam has expressed his deep anguish over the recent order issued by JK Govt. regarding prohibiting the employees from demonstrations and strikes for all the employees of J&K. Shabnam said that in this democratic country government employees have got every right to fight against any kind of injustice and discrimination. He said that the government employees are public servants and the backbone of this country and when their genuine demands are not fulfilled, then the last option left for them is to go for peaceful demonstrations as per the constitution.
Shabnam urged govt. to roll back this order which debars the government employees of their democratic rights against participating in any form of protests held for their legitimate entitlements, which has been provided to them by the Indian constitution.
