Sopore, April 27: Sopore Police has booked four Drug Smugglers namely
1. Parvaiz Ahmad Khan S/O Abdul Rashid Khan R/O Model Town C Sopore
2. Waseem Ahmad Hajam S/O Mohammad Akbar Hajam R/O Dooru Peer Mohalla and
3. Shahbaz Ahmad Dangroo S/O Ghulam Mohi ud Din Dangroo R/O Machipora Bomai Sopore.
4. Sharafatullah Shah S/O Muzaffar Ahmad Shah R/O Shalpora Sopore A/P Shalimar Colony Sopore.
under PIT-NDPS. They have been taken into custody and are now being held in the Central Jail Kot-Balwal, Jammu.
It is important to note that many cases have been registered against these Drug Smugglers and they were still involved in Drug Abuse Trade by supplying Drugs to the local youth of the Police District Sopore and other areas of the District.
The general public of Sopore appreciated the role played by the Sopore Police in taking action against Drug Smugglers. Sopore Police is committed to take strict actions against such criminals as per the law.
