MLA Pampore Hasnain Masoodi Reviews Water Supply Schemes of Pampore Constituency at Srinagar

Srinagar, September 30: MLA Pampore, Retired Justice Hasnain Masoodi, on Tuesday convened a comprehensive review meeting of the Pampore Constituency at Ram Munshi Bagh Guest House, Srinagar to assess the status of ongoing water supply projects.

The meeting was attended by the Chief Engineer, Jal Shakti Department; Superintending Engineer Pulwama; Executive Engineers (Civil/Mechanical); and Assistant Executive Engineers of Civil, Mechanical, and Groundwater wings, officials told Morning Kashmir.

During the deliberations, the MLA raised concerns over water scarcity in Munpora and sought a detailed report on the bottlenecks delaying the commissioning of major Water Supply Schemes (WSS) including Lelhara, Letapora, Gundbal, Androosa, Khrew, and Wuyan.

Officials informed that the WSS Ratnipora and Sether Qazigund are in the final stages of completion and will be inaugurated shortly, significantly augmenting drinking water facilities in the area.

Masoodi emphasized the need for timely completion of all ongoing works and directed the concerned departments to ensure uninterrupted and adequate water supply to the people of Pampore constituency at the earliest.
